Metal Braces
Metal Braces are the most common type. They are made of high-grade stainless steel and are smaller, more comfortable, and more attractive than braces your dad wore. Patients love changing their colors at every visit!
Aligner Therapy
Aligner Therapy uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable plastic trays that no one can tell you're wearing. You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to their final positions.
Clear Braces
Ceramic braces are made of translucent (clear) material. They are most popular with adult patients, due to their cosmetic appeal. They won’t stain or discolor and are far more esthetic than you thought braces could be!
Self-Ligating
Self-ligating braces do not require the use of elastics, meaning fewer appointments and less friction being placed on the tooth. Self-ligating braces come with traditional metal, ceramic, or clear brackets. They are the same size as metal braces, but with more options they can provide a more aesthetic appearance, particularly for adult patients.
Retention
Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far. Whether you’re getting your braces off with us, or you had them removed years ago, we make all sorts of retainers for your specific needs. Retainers can even correct minor relapse cases in adults!
Orthognathic Surgery
Corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) treats and corrects abnormalities of the facial bones, specifically the jaws and the teeth. Often, these abnormalities cause difficulty associated with chewing, talking, sleeping and other routine activities. Surgery corrects these problems and, in conjunction with orthodontic treatment, will improve the overall appearance of the facial profile.

Like many of our patients, Dr. Mann grew up playing sports, attending camps, enjoying family vacations, learning musical instruments, and navigating the world of middle school and high school with as many extracurricular activities as possible! After graduating from the University of Michigan with degrees in Biology and Spanish, Dr. Mann moved to Los Angeles to teach high school biology and chemistry as part of the Americorps program, Teach For America. In addition to teaching, Dr. Mann ran after school tutoring, coached basketball and soccer, and earned his Masters degree in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University. After completing his service commitment with Teach For America, Dr. Mann followed his original plan to make happier, healthier smiles by attending Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. With so much culture and diversity surrounding the Big Apple, and so many smiles to help, Dr. Mann stayed in New York for his advanced residency training and graduated from Montefiore Medical Center with his Certificate in Orthodontics and Craniofacial Orthopedics.Dr. Mann is proud to be among the select group of orthodontic specialists who have been board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. This certification is held by only a small percentage of orthodontists across the country and demonstrates Dr. Mann’s dedication and commitment to continued proficiency and excellence in orthodontics.

Our Practice Manager, Alondra, joined the Mann Family in 2021. Alondra’s main goal in working at Mann Family Orthodontics is making sure that everyone feels welcome in our practice. We think of our patients as family. We go through this great journey together for almost 2 years and it is a happy and joyful day when they get their braces off. It is so rewarding to see the final result and the excitement in our patients’ new smile. Alondra was born and raised in South Florida. In true Floridian form, when Alondra isn’t caring for our amazing patients she's watching football in the fall, enjoying life on a boat, or setting up a campsite in the middle of nowhere.

This review is long overdue! My experience with Dr. Mann was amazing! I had an underbite and it was corrected in less than the 18 months that I was originally prescribed. I had braces during the time of 2020 Covid and he was gracious enough to still take my appointments and ensured that I was on track for getting them off on time. Sometimes I miss having my braces and the team was always so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend to anyone, you won’t be disappointed! They helped change my life.
