Won’t my teeth straighten out as they grow?

Sadly, no, your teeth won’t straighten out as you grow. In fact, the space your teeth have to fit in to decreases as your teeth continue to come in.

How expensive are braces?

Since every patient’s needs are different, it is impossible to estimate the cost until after your free first visit. At that time, we will go over the costs of our recommended care. We will also work with your insurance to cover as much of it as possible!

Do braces hurt?

Braces are not supposed to hurt. As your teeth move you may experience some soreness for a few days. But nothing that an over the counter pain medication won’t take care of!

Am I too old for braces?

No! Many of our patients are adults. Many of our older patients prefer our clear braces.

Do I still need to go to the dentist?

Yes! It’s even more important that orthodontic patients visit their dentist regularly. Food can get caught in braces and cause bacteria to build up. We will work together with your dentist to make sure your teeth stay clean and healthy while wearing braces.
